オンライン日本語スピーチコンテスト「第30回富山カップ」視聴参加申込（日本時間：4月26日（日）午前8時～11時） / Online Japanese Speech Contest – 30th Toyama Cup (Observer Registration, April 25, 4:00–7:00 PM PT)

富山県（または富山県出身）の大学生・短大生の皆さん、オレゴン州の大学生とオンラインで英語と日本語の交流をしてみませんか。

本イベントは、オレゴン州の大学に通い日本語を学んでいる学生たちによる、日本語スピーチコンテストです。今年で30回目を迎える特別の会でもあります。レベル２の優勝者には富山県訪問の機会が与えられます。

富山県の大学生の皆さん、そしてOregon-Toyama Connectionの皆さんのご参加も大歓迎です。オレゴンの大学生と交流する時間がありますので是非ご参加ください。

We are pleased to welcome observers from both Toyama Prefecture and Oregon, and we look forward to seeing you.

The speech contest is sponsored by the Toyama Prefectural Government and Japan America Society of Oregon in celebration of the Toyama–Oregon Sister State relationship. The first Toyama Cup was held in 1996, commemorating the 5th anniversary of the friendship between the people of Oregon and Toyama. 

The Toyama Cup is open to students studying Japanese at colleges and universities in Oregon and Southwest Washington. Contestants are evaluated on their overall Japanese language ability, as well as the content and delivery of their speeches.

The competition is divided into two levels. Each contestant will deliver a 3–5 minute speech in Japanese, followed by a question from one of the judges.

There will also be time for networking among participants.
