Hina’s back for her second season with the Thorns!
Join us as community comes together and we celebrate Japanese international soccer star, Hina Sugita, at the Portland Thorns vs Angel City game at Providence Park on Saturday April 29, 7:30pm kick-off.
Bring your voice, your taiko drums (let us know!), wave a flag, wear your Thorns gear; come and add to our party atmosphere and sit in our special Hina Cheer Section of the stadium. Exact seats to be determined dependent on final size of our group, but in the 218-219 seating section. Click here for game view. Tickets are just $25 each. You must register here and pay by 5pm Sunday April 23rd. Your e-tickets will be sent to you the week of the game.
NEW FOR 2023:
With Hina’s support, we’ve created a unique soccer scarf for Hina Cheer Section fans - not available anywhere else. Priced at $25, ALL profits from sales will be donated to Futajima Football Club in Kitakyushu. This is Hina’s hometown youth soccer club where she first developed her love for the game. Help us fundraise for kids soccer in Japan by purchasing a scarf (or 3-great gifts!). Limited numbers and we will sell out so buy as you sign up for the game. NOTE: ONLY available for those who purchase game tickets for the Hina Cheer Section.
As you register - you will be asked to enter the number of がんばれ Hina scarves you wish to order (leave blank if none), THEN the number of additional tickets (guests you are bringing with you) you wish to add.
No cancellations or refunds on game tickets or scarves.
Receiving your scarf: We’ll be distributing on game day only from Mox Boarding House at 1938 W Burnside St right next to Providence Park, from around 5pm to 6:30pm prior to the game. We have to close at 6:30pm in order to move across to the stadium, and we’ll continue distributing from our section upon arrival. Bring ID. All scarves purchased will be distributed to listed registrant only. Please be patient if there’s a line. We do not mail scarves or otherwise distribute in advance.
