Back by popular demand, JASO NEXT is excited to bring you another opportunity to learn Japanese cookery with Andrea Obana! With her instruction, we’ll prepare a comforting fall menu featuring braised chicken and taro root with ginkgo nuts, and side dishes of greens with fried enoki mushrooms in broth and kabocha squash dressed with miso. We'll send you the simple ingredients list and recipes shortly after registration payment is confirmed. (Vegetarian and vegan alternative ingredients are also listed)
ALL ingredients are available at Uwajimaya in Beaverton! (Or may be found at other Asian supermarkets if you’re not close by) This class is conducted over Zoom, so you can prepare with Andrea and cook in real-time from the comfort of your own kitchen (please have your ingredients on-hand), or you can observe and take notes if you prefer to cook at your own speed after the class.
