We're thrilled to announce the return of in-person events. It's been 2 long years for everyone, and we really appreciate your patience, and sticking with us, through these times. Zoom has also allowed us to think differently about connecting with Japan, and we'll utilize this as we go forward with a mix of in-person and zoom events.
We kick off with a simple networking event - Springtime After Hours. A mid-April Wednesday evening at the Mark Spencer, awesome sushi from Sho Restaurant, 2 tickets for cold beer from Sapporo. Little programming, maybe a door prize or two ;-). Sushi. Beer. Chat. Fifty people max. Bring your vax card or photo on your phone and show it at check in.
We're also adding a new benefit for ALL membership, regardless of level - get early access to select, limited-seat events. We've been selling out a few events, and we want to be sure that those who support us year-round through membership get first chance to attend our events. For members, the first 72/96 hours after an event is announced, is all yours to sign up. Please remember, our membership system recognizes you by the email address you enter, so don't sign up with your personal email address if you're a member through your company email address. Pricing - as we return to in-person events we also return to charging for events. Our pricing literally only covers the hard costs of the event itself - usually not even that. This After Hours is a great example where 3 very supportive members - the Mark Spencer, Sho Restaurant & Sapporo Premium Beer - not only pay their membership fees, but also give us great deals that help us keep pricing low. Let's support them in return also :-)
