Walk in US, Talk on Japan

Join JASO as we host a special outreach program of the government of Japan, with five representatives from different backgrounds coming together to discuss elements of contemporary Japanese society.

Led by Ambassador Ichiro Fujisaki, the Walk in US, Talk on Japan program gives Americans of all ages a special insight into the hopes of Japan’s millennial generation, disaster recovery and volunteerism, how Japan has embraced energy conservation, what “Japan Cool” really means, and how Abenomics has influenced today’s young business entrepreneurs.

Attendees will listen to short presentations on each topic, and take part in a question and answer session. After the presentation, attendees can mix with each other and the team of presenters, while enjoying light refreshments.

This program is free of charge, but you must register to attend. The program with take place at the Hilton Downtown Portland, 921 SW 6th Ave, on the 23rd Floor.

Hosted in collaboration with the Consular Office of Japan in Portland.
